Tammi and the boys came to visit us the last two weeks of January.  We had a really fun visit.  We all ended up sick during the second week but even sick it was a great visit.  This is a picture of Luke having fun in a puddle in our back yard.  We thought it was cold but Luke thought it was summer.

We went to Myrtle Beach for a weekend.  It was a little cold but not so cold you could not build sand castles.  Travis and Melissa also went.

The hotel had a indoor lazy river.  Ryan loved floating around.  There were also indoor pools and kiddie pools.  Luke spent about two hours swimming the first night.

Ryan and Grammy at home.  Ryan had just started crawling before he got to our house.  By the time he left we had to shut all doors to keep him out of all the rooms.

Hi and Happy New Year to everyone. Here is what has been going on at our house this Holiday season. We started in early December going to the Carolina Opry Chritmas Show in Myrtle Beach. It was a really wonderful show. Travis and Melissa went with us. We spent Chrismas Eve at our house with Travis and Austyn. We ate pizza and played some games.

Christmas morning was a big change for us. It was the first time in 32 years we woke up without children or grandchildren in the house. We are not sure if we liked that or not.

Later Travis, Melissa and Austyn came over. We had dinner and played all the new games we got.

The day after Christmas we went to Traci's house to celebrate Christmas with them (we forgot the camera). Makenna came back with us to spend the week. This is the beginning of the bread she made. It was great.

On New Years Eve she made a cake for us. She told me when she grows up she wants to own a shop called Makenna's Magical Munchies. She took some of the cake and bread home with her and she sold pieces to her family. This is the start of her business.

On New Years Eve we played games, lit some fireworks and watch the ball drop. We really enjoyed our week with Makenna and was sad when she went home. Today is our 34th Wedding Anniversary. We have had a wonderful life together so far.
